Faulty transfer

Hi.

I don't know whether this problem is related to SmartFTP or the TCP/IP stack of Win2000, which I run with SmartFTP.

A friend of mine uploaded a file, and this uploaded file was larger in size than the original.

uploaded: 61.653.554
original: 61.566.976

How is that possible?

check transfer mode (ascii/binary).

The file was a *.rar, not in the list for ASCII, hence it was binary.

My friend uploaded the file again. Now the size is ok, but the contents is different from the original (wrong CRC). How is that possible ???
