ok i just downloaded smartftp
go to hook up and recieve this error
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
Connection closed.
any ideas is this a setting problem somewhere i have turned off my firewall and virus protector and those were not the problem

Ok,
I was having the same problem and I figured it out. Funny how nobody knows how easy this is to fix I think. All you have to do is go to:
Tools>
settings>
Connection(on left hand side of sceen in the colum)>
Then select active mode under the data connection box on the right hand side of the screen.
Make sure it says ACTIVE MODE(PORT)
Good luck cause it worked for me.
