double-click?

I just got SmartFTP and am still in the steep part of
the learning curve so forgive me if this is a dumb
newbie question...

Ordinarily, in Windows (I use Win2K) when you
double-click a file icon the default application for
that filename's extension is executed. E.g. when
you double-click whatever.txt you get a text editor.
However, SmartFTP does not appear to follow
this convention... Or do I have it misconfigured?
Bug or feature?? :-)

Thanks very much, gurus!

You can change that at settings, general, navigation.
