transfer in ASCII program switches to Binary for some files.

I had to install some files to my server in ASCII mode. I made the switch in my settings. When files transfered I saw a 200 switch to Binary I believe for .pm files. Why? If I am not in Auto mode why would SmartFTP switch to Binary? Can I overide this?

I took the time to verify and see if there were any issues with ASCII/Binary
via the Toolbar, Global Settings, and Favorites. I could not find one problem.

I recommend you set the "Default Transfer Type" to "Auto", and add *.pm
to the "ASCII Files" list. Tools > Settings > Transfer -> "ASCII / Binary".

If you are connecting to the site from a favorite, make sure you edit -
the favorite site, and set it to "Auto" as well for "Default Transfer Type".
