Newbie question

What happens when I rename a file using smartftp? Are other pages in my site which are linked to this page disconnected?

The site I am working on has an index and a home page so Frontpage will only import one as the index and ignore the other. I must change the 'home.htm' page to kft.htm. Can I do this in Smartftp without messing up all of the links in the site?

You are talking about two different things.

The HTML code that links to the home.htm has to be changed everywhere to link to the name page when it's renamed!

so, a link that looks like this <a href="home.html"> would become <a href="ktf">

Please learn HTML.

FrontPage should be just an easy tool to write HTML but it should not replace the knowledge of HTML.
