Wild card characters in file names

I would like to set up the Global Queue to automatically download a set of files each day from an ftp server. The file names are the same except for the portion that contains the date. Is there some way to use a wild card character when listing the file names to download so that it will automatically download files that have a portion of the name change each day or a group of files that have a similar name component?
