That's a server trouble, the server where you try to connect has a bad configuration.

This is a config problem @ the server end. The directory that was specified @ the server to be the initial directory you are logged into does not exist (either renamed, deleted, etc.). You should contact the server admin and inform them of the problem, b/c it could be affecting others as well.
