smartftp crashes when i'm trying to enter a virtual directory on a bulletproof ftp server. is this a known error and will it be fixed?

thanks for a superb ftp client tho'! i'm a paying customer and i love this app..

Please upgrade to the latest development build:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

ok, i tried that and got "self signature check failed. reinstall smartftp."

i've tried reinstalling, but i'm still getting that error-message.

update: i just tried to look in some other virtual directories that doesn't have so many folders in it. the first one i tried (that makes smartftp crash), has about 1200+ folders. the other one has about 30. can this be a reason for the crash?

BTW: This is all searchable via the forum search.

i tried searching for "bpftp" and "bulletproof" in the search-area before posting, but i didn't get any hits. ok, so i'll try searching better next time. ;]

anyways, thanks for the help. it solved the problem i had. will this "error" be fixed in the next release?

smartftp still rules. :]

Yes, the next official release will include this fix.

Glad you are enjoying SmartFTP
