The interface of SmartFTP (I have the latest build as of today) is slow to display cascaded menu items. For example, if I go under View, and then highlight or click Toolbars ->, the submenu items take about 4-5 seconds to appear. This problem occurs regardless of the selection, and for each submenu opened. As another example, if go under Commands, Download ->, Direct ->, Recent Folders ->, the total time required is about 15 seconds.
Anyone else having this problem? I do not notice any accentuated CPU activity on Task Manager. I am running W2K on a 1.13GHz PIII.
