FTP locks up(freezes) when uploading

i saw this below and have tried all the fixes you have posted, but after i install the fix 1.0.974.6..it works for a day or 2 then begins locking up again...somethimes it works fine then it will just freeze

SmartFTP doesnt freeze on sunny days .. but it doesn't like rainy days very much.
