NEED HELP!!!

Ok im real new at this stuff... and... well... WHERE DO I GET MY PASSWORD?!?!?! i watched all the tuts but i cant find out where i get or how im supposed to know it. i know this sounds kinda stupid but its angering me :evil:

First of all, do you have any webspace? If so, contact the system administrator, and they should be able to give you your userid and password.

ok well say i wanted to connect to someone elses who was "sharing files" would i have to get a pass from them or something?

hmm, check the basic of ftp and what it is searching at google about ftp.
you need someone to run a ftp server so you can get file from him.
this is not a p2p program.

Yes, this is someone running a server and im trying to connect i get Valid user name, Password required...
How do i get our find out the password?

Then it disconnects me...

you need to ask the person that admin the ftp server that give you one.
