Getting "Not Responding"

A couple of days ago, I downloaded the update...

since then, I have been getting "not responding" everytime
I have use this newer version.

Is there a patch or something I am missing?

Do you mean that you have to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to end task (and it says "SmartFTP v1.0 [not responding]")? When, exactly, does this happen...when you start SmartFTP, while trying to connect, at random, or something else?

Try reinstalling SmartFTP.

I am able to upload one or two files/htm then it just becomes dead, so I do the ctrl+alt+delete, and it says not responding.....so you think that deleting program and downloading it again would be the best thing to do?

Yes, that's generally the first thing you should try.

Uninstall SmartFTP, download the latest developer build, and reinstall SmartFTP.

If you are still having problems, then post your system information (Help > About > System Info) and your FTP log. Is SmartFTP the only program that you are having hanging problems with?
