Does SmartFTP support multi-part uploads to S3?

No we haven't seen any performance benefits. Uploads were already maxed out with one connection in our test scenarios (Windows 8.1 / 2012 to Amazon US Standard, 1gbit/s connection).

Or - hah - before I get too far off the mark I'll borrow an analysts workstation and try the same upload with smartftp.
