Error=0x8007274c

I cannot make a connection because I get the error code:
 
 Error=0x8007274c
 
I understand that this is caused by a corrupt Registry entry, so I have purchsed - and used - three software programs that claim to fix this problem They don't!
 
Does anyone have a proven way of fixing this error code and Registry?
