unable to connect

Hi there,

When I try to connect I get the following message.

[15:49:22] SmartFTP v3.0.1021.4
[15:49:24] Resolving host name "ftp.1and1"
[15:49:27] Unable to resolve host name.
[15:49:27] Active Help: https://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/81
[15:49:27] Connect failed. Waiting to retry (30s)...

I think it may be something to do with the host name. I have tried

ftp.1and1
and
ftp.1and1.co.uk

Please can someone help?

Dear Alex ..

I think your host name is incorrect. Please try ftp.1and1.co.uk and then post the log again. If this doesn't work you may want to contact your web hosting provider. They can give you the correct host name. Then go to menu: File->New Remote Browser in SmartFTP to enter this information.
