Uploading Help

Okay, like most people I'm having uploading problems. And I have no idea why. I still drag and drop, then I'll start the Transfer Queue. And then it'll go idle and retry every minute but, it still doesn't transfer. With the exception of one time, I think I forgot I had the program open and half and hour later it transfered. And I don't fancy the idea of waiting half and hour for something to upload.

Where did you paste that log from? Did you double-click on the "Zz" line?

Update: I think you pasted the text from the main log screen? Double click on the retrying lines in the transfer queue for a transfer specific log.

Thats what it says when I click on the retrying files.

Looks like you're not allowed more than zero connections to your FTP server! Very weird.

It looks more like an FTP server problem than a SmartFTP problem. Check the FTP server configuration (or tell the server admin to do so).

In version 3, all files go into the transfer queue.

If you are limited to one connection you need to disconnect the connection in the Remote Browser then the Transfer Queue items will process. While we agree that this is not very convenient a server limiting you to one single connection is not a common case for a paid hoster. But I can see that you are using 110mb a hoster which limits the number of connections to one if you use their free hosting plan. Maybe it would be a good idea to pay 5 usd per month for a real web hosting plan?
