Need help Host name?

I downloaded and installed SmartFTP and am trying to figure out "host name", username and password. I assume my user name and password is the same as I use for my email don't know if I need to call my ISP for the host name or???

I have created a large slideshow with music that I would love to share with a website I frequent and realize I need to use an FTP program.

Any help greatly appreciated.
