How do I uninstall?

I'm trying to uninstall the program, but there's no entry in Add/Remove Programs for it.

I did a little searching, and this is all I could come up with-
- Somebody posted that the "Backup Tool" could be used to completely uninstall the program (what?). For kicks, I ran it and chose the "Reset" option. It said it would clear out the settings for the program, which I assume just means remove whatever is in the registry. I did that, and I still have registry entries for the program.

I didn't think I would have used the .msi installer (the install was months ago- I don't remember), but one of the registry entries is in Windows\CurrentVersion\Installers\Folders.

If it was in Add/Remove Programs, I must have tried to uninstall months ago, and it's not an option anymore.

How do I get rid of the program?

Thanks,
Nick

umm... your obviously confident in yourself and machine to go poking around in the registry, you dont have it in Add/Remove programs, and I assume you can delete the folder that it occupies.

whats your problem again? lol

despite 'horror stories' to the contrary, a few random entries in your system registry 9assuming you didnt find and remove them all) is not gonna hurt anything, I wouldnt worry about it

My current problem is that you're being a pain in the rear.

Seriously though.
- I don't know what else the program puts in the Registry.
- I don't know why there's an installer entry in the Registry, but it's not in Add/Remove Programs.
- I already tried to delete the folder, and one of the DLLs was in use even though I wasn't running the program. I had run the "Backup Tool" previously, but it wasn't running when I tried to delete the folder.

It's not my program, so I don't know 100% how to get rid of it. I'm a software developer too, and I know better than to just assume I know where everything is. I want the program gone, not just mostly removed. Mucking around with things based on a guess is not the way to do it.

I'm happy to wait for a real response from the developer of the program.

An entry in the Add/Remove Program files is always created. This has also been confirmed by the "Verified for Vista" logo certification team.
