550 error, can't delete folder and its files

I'm trying to delete a folder and its files, but it refuses to let me change its permissions or delete it. I can rename the folder (but not the files), but it still doesn't let me delete it. The folder itself is chmodded at 755, while its files are at 644. I can't delete any of those. Below is the log:

How do I delete those buggers? The host said that I have to delete those myself.

As the log says your user account does not have sufficient privileges to delete these files. Your web hosting provider can very likely delete them for you.

Never mind, I managed to delete them with the File Manager.
