Copying files to different directories

I have a number of large files on my ftp that I would like COPIED to another directory within the same ftp.

The only way I know how to do this is to re-upload them and that would simply take hours.

Is there away, whther from the command line or program itself, to copy 1 file/folder from one directory to another (copy and paste) ?

Try to connect 2 times to the site and drag and drop from 1 remote to the other.
