Help setting up my site useing smart FTP

Hellow,

I have used FTP client before but the whole site was set up already... (theugn.com) so i have some experiance useing it .. but now i created my own site (maddenunion.com) but i have no idea how to set up my files.. if some one could please help me out here or give me some tutorials it would be nice.

What exactly do you mean by "set up my files"?

Do you mean uploading them to your webspace or do you mean creating the files from scratch (building your website on your computer before uploading it)?

Building it from scratch.. i mean when i log in into my FTP i see nothing but my host name..
