Smart FTP Stops Loading

When I load it all I see is the dialog stating that the expiration is run out. I click ok, the dialog disapears, and then nothing happens. I have to repeat this several times (between 4-7 ususally) before it finally loads. I'm getting really frusterated at this.

This did not start happening until relatively recently, I'm not sure why it is doing this.

I am also having this issue. I tried upgrading to the more recent version, but it still happens. i wonder if this is connected to the other problem i am having of not being able to upload/update my home page? (see post about this for more info)
