broken pipe

i get errors such as broken pipe when trying to list directories with lots of files/directories in it, my current directory has around 5.5k folders in it, and smart ftp does not like it, it needs several attempts to list it

bug exsits in 1.0 and 2.0, other ftp programs do not have such a problem, very annoying bug for a great program, please fix it

Post the logs, including system information etc.

The problem is very likely not with SmartFTP.

what logs?

it works fine in flashfxp although does take longer than it should

Try to set the timeout to a highter value, with a big directory like this the server needs some time to build the listing.
