Selecting All Folders

Here's my problem:

I have loads of folders in my FTP that are already uploaded and I want to select them ALL and give them all a 777 permission. I don't want all the files to have the 777 permission though, because that will leave them open to hackers.

Hi, choice the root of where the files and folders are and use recursive chmod.
