How to Backup the Forums Up?

hello,
i'm new here and new in using the FTP And forum sevices
so , i have a question how can i back the forums up ?
and can the SmartFTP backup tool a rule in this proplem ?
plz tell me the story from the begin

The SmartFTP backup tool is only for backup of SmartFTP settings & favorites, so you can easily restore / migrate your settings e.g. to another computer.

Backing up a forum is a whole different story and depends on the forum you use. In particular, you probably need to backup an SQL database, which has nothing to do with FTP at all.
