Hi
I'm having problems connecting through ISA 2004, connecting using Internet Explorer works OK.
I've tried each proxy type but none of them work. At this stage I'm not sure if this is an ISA or SmartFTP problem.
If I try the SOCKS4A type as recommended in the docs I get the following connection information
SmartFTP v1.5.991.24
Resolving host name "ftp.wicks.co.nz"
Proxy: Resolving host name 192.168.1.19
Connecting to 58.28.96.18 Port: 21
Proxy: Connecting to SOCKS4A proxy server 192.168.1.19 Port: 8081
Proxy: Connected to proxy server. Sending connection request.
Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
Server closed connection
Does anyone have SmartFTP working through ISA 2004, what proxy type are you using?
Unfortunately using the firewall client isn't an option as the clients use TrendMicro IWSS as their proxy, which then uses ISA as the upstream proxy. I'm bypassing IWSS for the moment, once I can get FTP working through ISA then I'll try through IWSS->ISA.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
