server restart

can i restart the server i am connected to?

I have a counter strike dedicated server that i ftp
and an update from steam forced me to update a cfg file...but in order for it to take effect i have to restart server...anything?

The short answer is "no".

The long answer is: This must be support by the server, not by SmartFTP. The server needs to offer a custom SITE command extension to restart itself, then you could issue such a SITE command from SmartFTP. But I know of no server which allows to restart itself via a SITE command extension.

and, btw, he does not want to restart the ftp server but the counter strike dedicated server. no that is absolutely not possible.
