Create run at logon task
The following instructions create a new task which runs SmartFTP when the user logs on.
- Go to the Control Panel
- Select Administrative Tools
- Select Task Scheduler
- Select the Task Scheduler Library in the tree on the left side
- Click on Create Basic Task... on the right side
- Give the task a name. e.g. Start SmartFTP
- Click Next
- In the Task Trigger step, select When I log on
- Click Next
- Select Start a program
- Click Next
- Click Browse...
- Select the SmartFTP.exe file located in the "%programfiles%\SmartFTP Client" folder.
- Click Open
- Leave the other input fields empty
- Click Next
- Click Finish
