Memory and handle leak detection

Deleaker is a tool to find memory and handle leaks.

  1. Download and install Deleaker
  2. Start Deleaker in standalone mode
  3. Click on Options...
  4. Go to the Symbols dialog
  5. Set the Enable Microsoft symbol servers to True
  6. Click OK to close the options dialog
  7. Click on Browse...
  8. Select the SmartFTP.exe from the C:\Program Files\SmartFTP Client folder
  9. Click Start debugging
  10. In the Allocation Types dialog, click OK
  11. Reproduce the leaks in SmartFTP
  12. Exit SmartFTP
