Problem

Box: Captcha is required.

HRESULT error: FTPLIB_E_BOX_CAPTCHAREQUIRED (0x8004311d)

Cause

You have triggered Captcha on your box account. This is a restriction imposed by Box. 

Solution

To clear Captcha, use your Web browser and Box credentials (or External Password, if you're using SSO) to log in to app.box.com.

It is recommended to use the native Box protocol (supported by SmartFTP) instead of the unreliable FTP server box provides.
