Problem

Local policy requires CCC.

HRESULT error: FTPLIB_E_LOCALPOLICYREQUIRESCCC (0x8004311e)

Cause

The FTP server's policy requires a clear control channel.

Solution

  • Go to the Favorite Properties
  • Go to the FTP - Connection - TLS dialog
  • Set the Control connection option to Clear.
  • Restart SmartFTP
