Problem

License error.

HRESULT error: FTPLIB_E_LICENSE (0x80043107)

Cause

The FTP Library was unable to acquire a license. This happens if the internal integrity check fails.

Solution

  • Reinstall (uninstall first, then install) SmartFTP
  • Verify the digital signatures. For details: KB 2649
