selected sounds don't play

I have set up two sounds to play (transfer completed and file exists) and in the preferences dialog they play OK.

But when I transfer a file (eg by just dragging it from the local to the remote window) the sound doesn't play.

Any ideas?

This is a clean install of 4.0.1069

It worked fine on previous installs.

The sound events do no longer work for transfers. But you can set the On Transfer Queue complete action to "Beep". To do this go to the menu: Tools->Settings. Then go to the Queue dialog.

that's a real shame as it's useful when files are being transferred in the background. Why haven't you removed them from the sounds config?

It doesnt really make much sense to play a sound for every file that is being transferred. But there is a "end of transfer" notification which plays when the whole queue has been transferred.
