New computer with Vista, having trouble.

i installed a new Dell computer today with the Windows Vista 64 bit operating system.

when i try to dowload SmartFTP i get this error message:

"SmartFTP client setup Wizard ended prematurely"
"SmartFTP client setup ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified".

any hints? ideas?

Install the latest version from here:
https://www.smartftp.com/download

Make sure that your computer does not corrupt the file when it downloads it.

I have been using SmartFTP for a long time now on Vista Ultimate 64-bit without any issues. However I have always downloaded the 64-bit version of the client. I believe I started using the client with 2.5, and then moved to 3.0 eventually.
