Server to server failures

I am attempting to miror a site using drag and drop from one server to another. I am haveing two modes of failure.

senario a: folder contains a symbolic link which can not be followed giving an invalid directory error. Smart FTP just stops at this point not trying other directories.

senario b: dragging a folder with many nested folders smart ftp goes down the first branch transfering files then gets to a certan point before the end and climbs it's way back out but doesn't reurse any of the other branches.

the logs and images of the folder trees that were dragged and the resulting tree can be found here:

http://vr5.dyndns.org:8008/temp/ftp_logs.rar

the top most folder is what was dragged.

For "Direct" transfers you can enable the "Continue on Error" in the Settings->Transfer dialog.

The "Global Queue" is the better way to do transfers with many files.

>Problem b
Can you reproduce the problem with a public server? Or give us any hints how we can do it.

Regards,

similar problem with server to server transfers. I'm trying to move only one file dragging it from one window to another: it takes a lot and the result is a 0 sized file. What's wrong? Should I use global Q even for just one small (25byte) file?

One or both of your servers don't support FXP.

Oh my!
Sorry, what is FXP?, so I can ask my provider for details.
Thanks!
