Dear friends:
I recently switched to Xandros Linux 2.0 with Win4Linux running Win98 SE. Installation was flawless. I installed a variety of Windows applications on Win98, including two FTP programs: Cute FTP and SmartFTP. Cute FTP is working flawlessly. However, SmartFTP won't connect. I've tested it on my own web site and on ftp.netscape.com. Never had any problem before with SmartFTP when I ran it on Windows 2000 and XP. But it won't work on Win98 as part of Linux (by way of the Win4Linux "bridge"). But CuteFTP does. Any suggestions what could be the problem?
