Dynam. generated file time-stamp creates phantom dupes?

Our FTP site includes files that are dynamically generated on the server side each morning. Occasionally I go in to view some of those files to verify their integrity. Often I get the message "This directory contains a file with same name" when trying to "view" a file (right-click > view). I am asked whether I want to overwrite the file with a more current dated copy. This makes it sound like I have two files with the same name but different timestamps on them in the same directory. Note that I'm not sending up a new file at the time I receive the message - I'm just trying to view it in notepad at the FTP site itself. What's going on?

You can find your answer in article # 75, in the Knowledge Base.

Basically, you might want to clear your TEMP folder from time to time.
