I haven't opened it for a while and i just completed an update... would this be causing the problem? of course i do still have my account as i have been able to loig into this forum

Plz send a log, without a log we can't know what is your exact problem. Also paste a [[[SYSINFO][/SYSINFO]][/[SYSINFO][/SYSINFO]]][/[[SYSINFO][/SYSINFO]][/[SYSINFO][/SYSINFO]]] of smartftp.
