I am running Windows 2000 SP3 and SmartFTP 1.0.974.
I connect to Internet FTP sites through an HTTP proxy server that requires user authentication.
I was connected to an FTP site and SmartFTP had been successfully issuing NOOPs for a couple of minutes.
I decided to "refresh" the folder to see if the vendor had moved the data out of the folder yet.
It tried for a bit and then gave up, giving me the little folder with an exclamation point icon.
I did another refresh and after about 10 seconds decided to reconnect. I aborted the refresh and clicked reconnect.
*CRASH*
Anyway, here is what the Exception dialog box said:
